I’m Laura, the founder of LAURA.
I’m from Belgium and spent my university years working in the travel industry, gaining valuable customer service experience.I lived in Ecuador for a year, learning Spanish and understanding business and cultural adaptability. Later, I studied in Thailand for six months whilst attending hospitality conventions.
In 2020, I moved to London and worked in the property industry for four years, focusing on client needs and exceptional service. Working with remote professionals during this time impressed me with their dedication and adaptability.
Inspired by my travels and the amazing people I’ve met, I started LAURA to connect UK companies with talented professionals from the Philippines, believing everyone deserves a chance to shine.

Originally from the Philippines, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my role. Over the past four years, I have worked as a technical advisor, during which time I have developed an extensive network of highly skilled and trusted talent.
In my experience, I have seen how many companies outsource work to the Philippines but unfortunately do not always treat their employees fairly. This inequity is something I am deeply committed to addressing. My role at LAURA allows me to champion this cause by bridging the gap between exceptional talent in the Philippines and opportunities in the UK market.
